I got a Maverick single probe one last night at WalMart on clearance for $18.00

Also in the housewares department they have another no name brand (been using it all summer) single probe one for $16.88

This was a great post to find tonight. I am doing my first brisket on the weekend.

THey were on about 4 1/2 hours. No wind outside so it was easy to control the temp. However on Sunday when I did them due to the wind I had them on for about 6

On Saturday I used the wood chips in the WSM it worked ok. However I used on Sunday BBQ'ers Delight Pecan wood pellets and there was a noticeable improvement and ease of use. no soaking. well had a lot of fun playing with my new WSM today.

Did 3 racks of ribs and they were quite lovely.

Yummy dinner.

I am picking up my new WSM tomorrow from TA.

I just got my new rib rack from Barrie BBQ and some pecan wood!

I have 10 racks of ribs to play with!

And if that wasn't good enough my hubby is bringing me home 2 brand new 55 drums to build my own !!!

And I wish I had time to take a pic of the dessert I got from Master Basters. It was incredible. I was too hungry by then to think straight.

Molson did a fine job of a 5 lb brisket and 3 racks of ribs.

It was goood.
