according to a previous post by Dave, these are the dates:

The dates for the comp will Be Pro: July 17-18, and the amatuer will be held on Sat July 18(same day as the pro turn in)

Have a look around the Smokinlicous Gourmet Wood Products website, www.smokinlicious.com for information regarding the flavours provided by the different species of woods. A lot of good info available. Trial and error is the easiest way to find what you like, however.

I have a coupla of em, Hippie. Nice cookers. Also have another pellet burner, coupla stick burners, coupla eggs - oh, and a Primo, etc., etc. Like 'em all, for their own merits. This is not completely true.

We use Smokinlicious Gourmet Wood Products - which is all heartwood, no bark - and get smokey flavour just fine :wink:

Good points, Reg. I am not so sure if it's the one with the biggest trailer and most sponsors, or the one with the largest knife to stick in the next guy's back. The whole community here seems to have broken down into cliques, with some thinking themselves more worthy or more important than others. ...
