I went on a wim last year and due to a no-show, I was able to participate.
Didn't know or realize that there is a good old boy's club in place.
Was really looking forward to being a part this year. :oops:

Judging application/registration

Other than Barrie, I have not seen any Judge's registration forms for Paris, Merlin etc. Do we just show up or do we contact someone regarding this?
I remember last year filling out app. forms for each event.

On the issue of propane ... cost for me is much less than what I would have to pay for charcoal and wood enough to do hours of smoke. I bought my burners from the nice folks in Alabama at http://www.gassmoker.com/ It is also a lot cleaner as well. This isn't a fire starter, it is the heat source. Yo...

Hello all! :D I live in Woodstock Ontario and have been BBQing on and off for a few years, more since I converted to propane. My Brinkman Smoke & Grill with the charcoal pan was a PITA!
