Buster Rhino's Successfully Completes HACCP Advantage

I am very proud to announce that the CGSB (Canadian General Standards Board) has awarded Buster Rhino's Inc. with HACCP Advantage.

On behalf of the Canadian General Standards Board, I am pleased to inform you that you have been successful in meeting the requirements of the CGSB and Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Foods’ HACCP Advantage program, and therefore are formally awarded certification to HACCP Advantage.


This is a substantial accomplishment, and one that should make your employees, your management team and your community proud. By achieving certification, you have demonstrated to an independent third party that you have an operational and effective food safety system. You also demonstrate leadership in an area affecting the lives of many people both within and without your organization.


I am very proud of my employees and all the very hard work they have done to get certified. Without their help this would of been impossible to accomplish, especially in the very short time frame we had (less than 7 months, it's usually a 1.5 - 2 year process).

It makes me feel proud to know that the food we serve to the public and our wholesale food distributors is of the highest quality and food safety.

If I understand this right - it is like becoming ISO certified in the food area. If that is the case and you and your staff managed this in less then 7 months - That is Amazing.

Thats exactly what it is like, ISO for the food industry. It is pretty intense, lots of long hard hours put in by my staff to ensure we succeeded.

I know first hand how difficult HACCP is to achieve...Congratulations to you and your team....maybe the short time it took you to achieve is something the meat industry can capitalize on.
