Darryl:
I have done a lot of research and I've found that the competition atmosphere has created an environment where many new, and even many experienced, bbq competitors get antsy and a little too intense when it comes to getting a control on their emotions and in selecting and properly pouring their favourite beverages. So, to that end, I believe that I will offer the first ever course on 'How to Pour Under Pressure'. It will be an exhaustive and extensive 12 hr/12 pk day with the intention of showing new teams how to select/store/chill/hold/pour and ultimately consume the very best malted beverages that Ontario has to offer.
I think this will be a much sought-after course, so placement is limited.

Why don't you offer that in conjunction with Danielle's course.

I can tell you one thing for sure, the vast majority of my customers who have taken the course would be ecstatic to be giving formal training on beer time rules and pouring. Since I don't drink I have to guess, it takes 6 beers to cook ribs, 12 to cook shoulder that type of thing - I feel that this is definitely one area that my classes are lacking and I do apologize to those people that have taken my classes.

Ted Reader's early cookbooks have Beer-O-Meters on each individual recipe. I think I might have a problem though, because I like my steaks rare and it still takes 2-3 beers to cook b5a

You bet they do!
His new cookbook - Napoleon Everyday Gourmet Plank Grilling - releases on April 1st and it has some fantastic beer recipes in it!

Schultz - Just means you will have to enjoy a beer before you even get to the BBQ part. There is no harm in that!

Diva - Best of luck at your classes!

Mike, this is yet another example of a situation where we need to "train the trainer".

What day would you like like to stop by for a few lessons? b4
