Fish Brine Recipe

Does anyone have a good brine recipe for smoking salmon? I went online and found too many to be helpful to me.

Any help would be welcome.

Diane, my favourite is maple syrup. Just chuck the salmon in a ziplock, pour in some syrup, squeeze out the air, seal and refrigerate overnight. That easy!
