Thank you for your replies to this question. You've helped with my decision. From what I've read the off-set requiers a little more experience operate, which I don't have, as well a good one is out of my budget at this time. So for now the WSM is the winner. Once I get some BBQ time under my belt using the WSM the off-set will be my next challenge. Again thank you for your help.

You can buy the Smokin Pro Chargriller from Home Depot on-line for about the same as a WSM and that price is delivered to your door. Not that there is anything wrong with a WSM, I have one myself. Any one who says the Smokin Pro isnt a decent cooker has rocks in their head... IMO. :P
