I am looking at getting the Napoleon Prestige II 450RB or the Napoleon Ted Reader 485RB. The 450 has a SS rotis burner, and the 485RB has a ceramic rotis burner. What is the difference? (All the top end models of Napoleon use ceramic)

Re: Ceramic vs Stainless Steel rotis burners
I have read that the infared are more efficient than the regular rotisserie burners, so they use less fuel for the same amount of heat that hits the food.
I don't know if the end result is better or the same (I have only used the regular).
There is also a Prestige II which has the infared rotisserie burner, the PT450RBI.
I don't know if this matters to you but note: the Prestige models are made in Canada, the Ted Reader is a lower line and made in China......

Re: Ceramic vs Stainless Steel rotis burners
Actually both of the BBQs have IR rotissiere burners, but one is made of ceramic (CTC model) and the other is what Napoleon calls a stainless steel IR burner. I was told the ceramic are more prone to getting damaged if they get splattered but wanted to know what others have experienced or prefer.
