TA Appliances in Kitchener sells a few types of charcoal. I would recommend you try the Basques.

Yup, Basques is good; you can also try Canadian Tire for Royal Oak, or Rona for Maple Leaf (this is very good too)....

Just tried the maple leaf briquettes on the weekend. I found them at Rona. Burns hot and long. Great stuff. Maple Leaf lump is at home hardware (at least it is in windsor).
