Dual Probe Remote Thermometer

Post by Charcoal » Sat Feb 14, 2009 8:45 am

I'm looking for a Redi-Check remote thermometer made by Maveric or something similar. Its the one that has dual probes, one for meat and the other for BBQ temperature. I think the model number is 6065. Ontario Gas BBQ carries them but is out of stock. I know I can order one online but would prefer not to.
Thank you in advance
Joe

Aaron is correct - go to Home Hardware and tell them you want the Maverick ET-73, dual probe thermometer, and if they do not have one in stock, they will order you one from their warehouse and it will be there in a couple of days.

I checked with our Home Hardware and it's not a model they stock. They are checking if they can order one in.

Is it possible that you could share what product code or something that homehardware assigned to it? I tried at my local store and either he didnt know how to order something that wasnt in the computer or couldnt be bothered.

Actually I noticed it when Aaron first mentioned Home Hardware in this thread. Too bad Ontario Gas BBQ is out of stock, their price was better at $59.95, can one price match at Home Hardware? :D

I have one of these models but I burnt up the smoker probe.

Does any one know where I can get a replacement for the smoker probe?

SmokinQ, call Ontario Gas BBQ at 1-800-387-7757. When I was there a few months ago I saw some replacement probes. I'm not sure if they were for the Redi Chek meter. If anything they can direct you to a possible source of replacement probes.
