Wagyu Beef dealer?

Anyone ever seen wagyu beef available in Canada? I keep seeing it on tv and figure i need to try it.

I saw it once. There was a truck at BBQ on the Bow comp in Calgary selling Wagyu a couple of years back.
Try contacting your provincial beef association if you have one ... like Ontario Cattleman's Association ... they should be able to help you out.

heres what got from a friend whos a meat broker:
As far as I know there is no Japanese Kobe available in Toronto. Pusateri's used to get it occasionally but the price was astronomical..Pusateri's does carry Wagyu and the butcher in Oakville (Just An Olde Fashion Butchery) has some at $75/kilo

Thankyou for the info. I'll check out the place in oakville sometime soon. $75 a kilo is a pricey experiment. Has anyone here ever tried it? It looks amazing on tv, especially late at night when your kinda hungry
