Judging application/registration

Post by Squeezy » Tue May 20, 2008 9:26 am

Other than Barrie, I have not seen any Judge's registration forms for Paris, Merlin etc. Do we just show up or do we contact someone regarding this?
I remember last year filling out app. forms for each event.

Thank you.

Hey Squeezy

Would you like to enter one of these events as a judge?

If so which one?

I will see if there are openings.

I can tell you that the Paris Event the Judging is full.

I don't understand this ... I am serving on the CBA'a judging comittee and I have been excluded from everything but Barrie it seems. I haven't seen anything about judging apps for any of the sattelite comps ...

Last year as a newbie ... no probs ... this year????

Hey Squeezy

Just to let you know that you are not on the list for Paris because this Event is the oldest event in Ontario when it coming to BBQ and has been around for more then 20 years.
The judges have been coming back year after year, sorry.

That's why there was no app form for this event.

Now about the other events we can sign you up.

I went on a wim last year and due to a no-show, I was able to participate.
Didn't know or realize that there is a good old boy's club in place.
Was really looking forward to being a part this year.

Thanks so much for clarifying this for me Scotty.
I may still just show up ....
