:) frist i must thank the teams,cbj's and vistors for showing @ our comp. we will work on the water thing ,,that will not happen again b4 and anthing else we can do to make your stay/comp in wheatfield better please e-mail us or post it.. 2nd our date,,, carlene from ga. (barbecuenews.com) and ourselfs want to make sure that our date will not conflect with dates from cba, or nebs (we want to make some of those comps) we went to the oink (our frist comp)had a great time and met some great people. so will somebody please post the dates asap.. our town of wheatfield ny supervisor tim demler said he sees no problem with 15-20 grand in prize n cash for our 2009 comp (i wiill keep you posted) and hopes to make this around 60 teams, with even bigger 2010,, so being the new kid on the block we want to set our date around yours :!: :!: :!:

we had to start moving forward, so as not step on toes with either the CBA or the NEBS we will move our date to AUG. 21st - 23rd, 2009.. we hope this will work for everybody.. i sure would like 2 see you at a comp b-4 that,

No its not kcbs. We did it last year and as long as the water issue will be resolved we will go again.

not on grass, water was on the summit mall building, a bit of walk,, the town will be installing a water line to the parking lot, my job is to take care of the teams so just ask i,l do my best b3

And do not get there late as they will set you up beside the generator. :( actually it was not that bad

The people were fantastic. Have a grocery store within walking distance was great as we forgot numerous things.

we will be there again this year. Vlado seems to sprint better on asphalt than grass I noticed
