Is anything in the works for Ontario this year besides Paris?

2009 and 2010 Competitions are one of the many items on this weekends BOD meetings. Please do not hesitate to PM us your suggestion for Comp's you would like the CBA to take part in.

Cheers

Easy, Bryan. Don't want to disclose too much information prior to a meeting or fifteen. Just hold your seat, and send in your 'suggestions' and then sit patiently and wait for an answer.
Many thanks to sponsors supporting my team:

Bryan,

I am not sure which of the board members posted the above comment, it matters not. What I would like to mention, is that we are trying to draw a distinction from the board as an official capacity and ourselves as enthusiasts. Posting under CBABOD means it is an official position or announcement, something all board members support.

Thanks for the reply.
I just like to know who I am talking to on the list. I always sign my name after a post, and like it when others do too. Seems more personal and friendly to me.
No hidden agenda here.

The City Of Barrie has held the weekend of July 10-12, 2009 for the Barrie BBQ Event.

Please note that it has been bumped to the 2nd weekend in July because Promenade Days will flow into the first weekend in July since July 1st (Canada Day) is on a Wednesday and does not fall on a weekend.

Hope this helps.

It looks like this year’s Gloucester Fair will take place May 21-24 (http://www.gloucesterfair.ca). This is the earliest I’ve seen them hold the Fair as it normally takes place on the last weekend of May or the first weekend in June.

Hopefully there will be a CBA event at the Gloucester Fair this year.

Just a preliminary survey; is there anyone who would be interested in a comp in northern Ontario (2 hours north of North Bay) for a weekend in September?

Where, perhaps Temagami?

I see North Bay, I cen even see Sudbury or the Sault, I would even hear the argument for Thunder Bay (after all it's only 16 hours). I guess if you put on a large enough venue they will come, just look at Cabela's. They are all located in small towns outside large metropolitan bases and people still manage to find a way out there.

Peter, it is one of my goals to bring to the CBA more diversified competitions outside of the Golden horseshoe.

PM me with some details and I will bring up your proposal.

Cheers
