A huge thank you to all those who came for the weekend. For those of you who missed out, look for us this same weekend next year, where we will see if we can make it bigger and better than this year.
A BIG thank you to Ontario Gas BBQ, for the donation of a WSM for the prize for the amatuer. As well thank you goes out to Boyds Elevators, Molesworth Farm Supply, Great Lakes Nutrition and the Perth County Pork Producers Association for their financial support of this weekend. And lastly, thank you to Scotty J and Deb Campbell for all their help in preparing for this event. We could not have done such a great job without the help of the people and businesses listed above.
See you all next year, same time, same place (Just don't follow Adrienne)

Thank you Dave for all the time and energy you put into this event. What a great time. Thank you as well to Happy Grillmore, Smokin In The Igloo, and Bustin Loose for their insight, and for all their time they took to answer all of our bbq questions. It is very clear that these teams have a special passion for the art of bbq. Thanks for sharing a part of your passion. We ended up a little farther from the top than we were hoping for, but were very happy with the taste of our ribs. Look out next year.

Congratulations to Happy Grillmore for the GC and all the teams that got calls.
Looks like it was some stiff competition there for sure.

Would just like to point out something that does not happen very often and that is..
Smokin in the igloo took a call in all 4 categories. As I recall, SCS was the first to do that back in Merlin 07.
Way to go Aaron and Adrienne, you two rock..!!

I forgot to add a Thank You to Ontario Pork for supplying us with the ribs for the amatuer competition.
I would post the point totals for the ribs, but some of the pro's would be emabarassed to see where they ended up compared to the amatuer. All the ribs were judged at the same time, and the judges did not know what class they were judging. Some of the amatuer turned in awesome ribs.
